Front brake hoses for early ACs (1947-51).

7/16" diameter threads. 11 inches (27.5cm) long excluding threaded sections.

These were specially made to order, and are rarely stocked anywhere, because they are unique to the AC 2 Litre. A few other cars have similar, but slightly different lengths, but those are fairly rare cars too.

These will fit directly into the front wheel cylinders of 1947-49 ACs with hydrastatic brakes (1 cylinder per wheel).

For ACs from 1949-51 (with twin-leading shoes), please check that a 7/16" diameter thread will fit your car. There should be an adaptor (usually a banjo union) on the wheel cylinder, for this to fit. The metal pipes also need to be the larger 3/16 inch size, unless there is an adaptor.

If you have 3/8" connections at both ends, then you will need the hoses for later (1951 onwards) ACs. Some early ACs have been upgraded or modified.
