Master cylinder repair kit for 5/8" bore (1947-51).

For earlier ACs (1947-51) with the hydro-mechanical braking system.

Kit includes seals, rubber boot, copper washers, spring and some red rubber grease.

The red rubber grease should be applied inside the rubber dust boot, after assembly of the cylinder. It helps to keep out water and dust. The plunger should only be lubricated with clean brake fluid (red rubber grease is not suitable for metal-to-metal lubrication).
