My 1949 AC 2 Litre Saloon has been in my family since 1962. It was the first car I rode in as a new born baby, and it remained in service until 1974. My Dad kept the car for me and I got it back on the road in 1985. Eventually, I hatched a plan to fully restore it, which involved peeling the body-shell off the ash frame. I then created a set of scale drawings for the wood frame, to replace the factory drawings (destroyed in a fire decades earlier).
In 2006, I set up my website for the AC 2 Litre to share useful information.
After a long hiatus, I resumed my epic restoration in 2009. Even with the help of the internet, the supply of spare parts was very fragmented and required research - and much searching. Hence a need for a more centralised source of spare parts.
Therefore, in October 2024, I launched this small business sideline to help AC owners around the world, to find what they need. This won't be a definitive "one-stop-shop", but I hope I can expand to cover most needs.
Let me know what components you can't find. Any feedback will help me to decide what parts to stock the most.
