Sill panel
The sill panel is an integral part of the main bodyshell. The inner surface should be painted for protection, since this type of alloy has a low resistance to corrosion compared to aluminium alloys generally. Its front end is folded by 90 degrees to wrap around the wooden doorstep and sill rail.
