Rear seat panel
This panel goes under the rear seat cushion and is screwed down with self-tapping screws. The black areas are bitumen that AC used to stick down leather-cloth trim. This trim is important to keep out fumes if the exhaust silencer leaks (as well as for preventing draughts), and so it should be glued down fully.
