Assembled brake compensator for mechanical rear brakes. Note that the unit shown does not have the correct rubber boots. I fitted trackrod end boots and fuel hose, since I could not find suitable rubbers to fit.
Now you know how it works. Made by AC (not Girling), it is a much neater balance mechanism than found on many other vehicles.
